- Are InHealth MTs employees or independent contractors?
We do offer employee status (we take out taxes, offer paid personal time, etc.) to those MTs who meet the full-time dictated minutes minimum. All others are independent contractors.
- What is the difference between part-time and full-time?
Full-time MTs type an average of 100 to 120 dictated minutes per day; part-timers are responsible for an average of 75 dictated minutes.
- What line rate does InHealth Transcription pay?
It depends upon experience but InHealth pays a competitive line rate.
- Do InHealth MTs work in the office or from their homes?
Most of our MTs work at home but we do offer positions within the office as well. We have, from time to time, an in-house externship for newly-trained MTs local to us in the Atlanta area.
- What benefits does InHealth offer?
Full-time employees earn vacation/sick time and are eligible to participate in 401k (after one year's service). All MTs are eligible to participate in our health/dental insurance plans, offered after 90 days of service and once per year open enrollment.
- Does InHealth pay any other bonuses?
All MTs who meet our 98% or higher quality score are eligible to participate in a production bonus.
