  1. Should we outsource and will you hire our staff?
We find that outsourcing in general provides the largest cost and time savings for customers. InHealth Transcription provides solutions to clients with or without an existing system. An InHealth sales consultant will gladly visit with you to ascertain what solution will maximize your transcription investment the most. InHealth will hire your staff to work with our company from home if they are qualified and meet our quality standards.

  2. How do we sign up for one of InHealth’s Digital solutions?
Signing up is very easy; simply contact an ITS sales representative at 800.477.7374 x371 or locally at 770.396.1896. An InHealth sales associate will ask you to complete a Business Associate Agreement and then arrange a set-up time and date.

  3. What does it cost to use one of InHealth digital solutions?
This question is always better answered after we perform a detailed assessment of a practice’s individualized needs and volume prediction.

  4. Do we have to buy any equipment to get started?
If you choose to utilize our digital call-in system, the only device needed is a touch-tone phone, a PC, and an Internet connection to get started. Digital Hand Held recorders and PDA’s require an additional charge.

  5. When can we access InHealth’s digital system?
InHealth is available 24/7, 365 days. This means you can dictate patient records any time it’s convenient for you – at the office, at home, or wherever. You have the freedom to work when you want and where you want.

  6. What’s the normal turnaround time for reports?
Reports are transcribed and delivered to your account within 24 – 48 hours. If you have an urgent report, turnaround time can be quick as 2–3 hours.

  7. What if we have multiple locations?
No problem, InHealth can accommodate multiple locations as well as multiple physicians and administrators under one account. Our detailed billing system can break down line counts by physician, location, and date of report for accounting purposes.

  8. Who are your transcriptionists and where do you get them?
InHealth hires seasoned transcriptionists with specific background experience in the specialty for which they are assigned. Our training and education is on-going for our transcriptionists so they are always first in the field. InHealth regularly exceeds the American Association of Medical Transcription (AAMT) standards and routinely delivers reports exceeding 98% in overall accuracy. Our transcriptionists are hired within the U.S. and dictation is never sent to a national work pool.

  9. Is InHealth HIPAA compliant?
At InHealth we understand that the medical record is our client’s most valued commodity and we treat it as such. Routine audits by our HIPAA compliance team guarantees that our employees respect your PHI just as a member of your own staff. Furthermore, we are in the process of introducing a completely new software platform that will put us way ahead of the competition in regards to privacy and security. For additional compliance questions feel free to contact our HIPAA Compliance Officer at 770-396-1896 x713.

  10. How do we receive our documents and/or edit them?
Your documents are ready to be viewed and printed via the internet server. Printing your documents is as easy as clicking on a print file tab within the viewer. Editing your documents is as easy as highlighting the patient name and clicking on the edit icon, make the changes and then click on the save icon. Changing patient demographics is as easy as clicking on the patient demographic button, make the changes and it then changes all patient demographics throughout the report. Your documents can be sorted by physician, patient name and/or by report type to further maximize the efficiency of your staff.
